As we forge ahead with our ambitious project, we’re excited to share the latest developments and milestones achieved in our journey.

As a first step, our literature mapping endeavor made a great contribution to prepare the H-PASS training planning. Work Package 3 aimed to conduct desk research with a literature screening and gather contemporary research findings on health workforce (HWF) skill needs to identify and define latest evidence for health professionals’ and digital team skills advancement. Academic and grey literature was also screened, particularly by using EU level research studies and reports of relevant EU strategic programmes. WP3 have reviewed recent publications connected to HWF skills, transversal skills, digital skills needs, skills mismatches, skill-mix, digital capability, and digital task shifting. This thorough exploration not only enriches our understanding of the field but also lays a robust foundation for the subsequent phases of our work.

Now H-PASS training development efforts are well underway. We’ve been diligently crafting a comprehensive training structure, its modules, and a complex methodological framework to ensure that our training course is informative, engaging, and tailored to the needs of our target audience. We have created a programme that integrates essential digital and transversal skills into one overarching training that is supported by VR technology. Additionally, careful consideration is being given to incorporating feedback and insights gleaned from stakeholders to ensure that our training initiatives align closely with their expectations and requirements, and that the pilot will help us in designing a valuable and sustainable training for the HWF across Europe.

In parallel, the process of selecting the optimal platform for our project has also been a priority of our project team. Recognizing the importance of choosing the right technological infrastructure to support our methodologically complex training pilot that will be delivered by partners of six different countries, we’ve been conducting thorough evaluations of various platforms, weighing factors such as features, access, flexibility, and partner requirements. Our aim is to identify a solution that not only meets our current needs but also aligns with our long-term vision for the project’s sustainability.

As we move forward, fueled by our collective passion and commitment to advance HWF in the digital age, we start to design training materials and test them in our upcoming interim meeting in Cyprus.

Not only that, H-PASS also appeared at several events in its first year of activity:
