At this year’s INHWE (International Network for Health Workforce Education) conference, the H-PASS project took center stage with an exciting and insightful workshop. Our session was focused on the future of healthcare education, examining critical changes in the sector and how we can best prepare health professionals for the evolving challenges and opportunities ahead.

Key Workshop Insights:

Must-have Skills for Healthcare Transformation:
As digitalization and technological innovations continue to reshape healthcare, there’s an increasing emphasis on equipping professionals with the right skills. Our workshop explored the necessary digital, transversal, and collaborative skills that healthcare workers need to navigate this transformation successfully.

Educational Adaptation:
Adapting educational strategies to these emerging needs was another crucial topic of discussion. The attendees exchanged ideas on how healthcare education should evolve to meet future workforce demands, including the integration of advanced digital technologies such as VR in training programs.

Collaboration is Key:
One of the standout themes of the workshop was the importance of collaboration. As healthcare becomes more interconnected across disciplines and borders, fostering teamwork and collaboration has become essential. Participants shared ideas on how to embed these skills into curricula to ensure healthcare professionals are well-prepared for the future.

Looking Forward

The workshop received a fantastic response, highlighting the commitment of the H-PASS project to advancing healthcare workforce development in Europe. As we continue to develop our training programs, we remain focused on building a resilient, skilled, and future-ready healthcare workforce.
