From Pilots to Practice: Evaluating H-PASS Training Materials and Shaping Sustainable Digital Transformation
H-PASS Pilot Material Evaluation Workshop in Kaunas marks a major step towards finalising training materials and sustainability strategies.
On 2–3 October 2025, the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) hosted the H-PASS Pilot Material Evaluation Workshop in Kaunas. The two-day event brought together project partners from across Europe to review national pilot results, share lessons learned, and agree on the final adjustments to the H-PASS training programme before its Europe-wide rollout.
Day 1 focused on evaluating the pilot implementation phase. Partners presented structured overviews of their training experiences, highlighting what worked, what was adapted, and how feedback from learners can be used to enhance the English and local versions of the course. Sessions also explored innovative approaches developed during the pilots, including the use of virtual reality (VR) for training and simulation at LSMU.
Day 2 turned the spotlight on sustainability and digital change agents. Discussions led by OKFŐ and ProMIS examined how trained professionals can act as drivers of digital transformation within their organisations, and how national and EU-level strategies can ensure the long-term integration of H-PASS outcomes. Partners also discussed future collaborations, upcoming webinars, and synergies with other European initiatives such as BeWell and HEROES.
The workshop concluded with a forward-looking project management session outlining deliverables and next steps as H-PASS moves toward its final phase.
The consortium extends warm thanks to LSMU for the excellent organisation and hospitality, and to all partners for their active participation and commitment to advancing digital competencies across the European health workforce.
