The H-PASS consortium gathered at the European University Cyprus for a pivotal Interim Meeting. Hosted by INHWE and European University Cyprus, this event brought together partners from six EU member states—Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, and Romania—to celebrate our achievements and plan the future steps to revolutionize healthcare training.
Day 1: Setting the Stage
The first day was filled with enthusiasm and anticipation as we kicked off this exciting event. The consortium convened to review our progress and strategize on creating a more resilient and digitally empowered healthcare workforce. The collaborative spirit was palpable as we summed up all the achievements in the first year of activities, shared insights and discussed the roadmap ahead.
Day 2: Deep Dive into 'Train the Trainer'
The second day centered around our ‘Train the Trainer’ workshop. Representatives from each member state engaged in dynamic discussions about the four modules of the H-PASS training program. Valuable exchanges highlighted the shared challenges of digital transformation and the necessity of tailoring content to meet local needs. The differing situations and requirements of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists underscored the importance of customized training modules.
Day 3: Embracing Collaboration and Innovation
The final day reinforced the undeniable magic of face-to-face meetings. The consortium continued to refine the training program, focusing on the integration of VR technology and the challenges of delivering inter-professional training online. Our collective efforts are steering us towards a comprehensive and adaptable training solution.
Looking Ahead: Online 'Train the Trainer' Workshop
Building on the momentum from the interim meeting, we transitioned to an online ‘Train the Trainer’ workshop. Here, we delved deeper into the potential of VR technology and tested the specifics of implementing online inter-professional training through complex exercises. This session highlighted the importance of thorough preparation and adaptation for online environments. The lessons learned will be pivotal as we move forward.
