On 20–21 March 2025, the H-PASS project took part in the EUPHA – Health Workforce Research Midterm Conference, held in Budapest and co-organised by the WHO Regional Office for Europe, the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, and the IHMT – WHO Collaborating Centre on Health Workforce Policy and Planning.

Hosted by Semmelweis University’s Health Services Management Training Centre, the event gathered leading experts in workforce research to explore innovative solutions to the challenges facing health and care professionals across Europe.

H-PASS contributed to the discussion with a poster presentation focused on strengthening digital and transversal skills for health professionals. The importance of digital competencies was further highlighted in a panel session moderated by Michelle Falkenbach and Marius I. U., with keynote Gemma Williams and speakers Monica Georgiana Brînzac, Eszter Kovács, and Federica Margheri.

Dr. Eszter Kovács spotlighted both the H-PASS and BeWell initiatives, underlining their role in building the digital capacity of healthcare teams. The conference also addressed workforce planning models, including insights from JA HEROES, aimed at shaping sustainable and resilient health systems.
