Since the first H-PASS newsletter was published, the project has entered a highly active phase, focusing on delivering and testing the H-PASS training programme in practice. The past months have been shaped by the preparation and rollout of pilot trainings, close cooperation with national partners, and direct engagement with health professionals across participating countries.

A key achievement has been the finalisation of the H-PASS training programme and its full set of training materials. The programme is built around four core modules: leading digital transformation, communication and teamwork in changing environments, improving healthcare processes, and working with data in health systems. For each module, complete learning packages were prepared, combining self-paced learning, group work, live training sessions, and clear guidance for trainers. This has ensured a consistent approach across countries while allowing room for national adaptation.

Pilot implementation has been a central focus during this period. Several national pilots were launched or prepared, bringing the H-PASS training directly to health professionals in real learning settings. We are proud to have already trained 459 participants across partner countries, with several training groups still actively ongoing. These pilots allowed partners to test the structure, content, and learning methods of the programme, and to gather valuable feedback from participants and trainers. Early results show strong engagement and positive self-reported improvements in areas such as change management, leadership, and educational methods.

Alongside the pilots, “train-the-trainer” activities were carried out to build capacity for future roll-out. Trainers were supported to deliver the programme effectively and to adapt it to different professional groups and learning environments. This step is essential for ensuring that the H-PASS training can continue and scale up after the project ends.

Overall, since May 2024, H-PASS as having made a clear step forward: from designing a training concept to delivering it in real learning settings. The pilot implementations have validated our approach, strengthened cooperation within the consortium, and created a strong foundation for scaling up the programme in the next phase.
